Michael E. Rizzuto joins the Real Estate group and brings 25 years of construction experience! As a busy father of two young children, Nicole, 11, and Steven, 7, working full-time and still finding the time to maintain my home (we all know how much time that takes) I understand the importance of getting the job done right the first time. As Ben Franklin said, “Time is a capital asset. You can not borrow time; you can not hoard time; you can not work exceptionally hard and earn more of it; all you can do is spend it. How you spend it is the difference between success and failure.” I have lived in Rockland County for over 35 years. I have seen a lot of change over that time span; some good, some not so good. But over all I have found Rockland to be a great place to grow up and now a great place to raise my family. I had a lot of opportunities to move away, but I always felt that Rockland was home. As my home, I have taken a lot of time and effort to know all I could about my county. What a great place to live if you take advantage of all it has to offer. After graduating form Clarkstown South High School I attended Pace University and graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business. (A great platform for starting any career.) After graduation I decided to join the International Union of Operating Engineers and became a licensed operating engineer in the city of New York. I spent 25 years running various heavy equipment until I became a Master Mechanic in charge of all operations involving construction of the site. I have worked on large job sites throughout the five Boroughs. I worked closely with the major contractors on every aspect of the building, from digging the foundation to the finished product. Given my experience in the construction industry and my passion for architectural and landscape design, I found myself drawn to the real estate market and decided to study and become a licensed agent. I take pride in my ability to know the difference between a "good home" and a "not so good home." I can see the potential and what can be done in order to make a buyer’s or seller’s dream come true.
